Art Korner Photo Contest Edition#3 - Minimalism

We're back with another edition of our Photo Contest for all the wonderful photographers out there, based on the genre of minimalism! Prizes worth L$6,000!

Minimalist photography is a form of photography that is distinguished by extreme, austere simplicity. It emphasizes sparseness and focuses solely on the smallest number of objects in the composition process.

Can you bring yourself to focus solely on one particular subject, rather than an abundance of color, patterns and information?

Give it a try and let's see what you can come up with the least amount of objects available at hand.

Guidelines for Submission

• All photographs must be taken and uploaded to Flickr between May 26th and June 16th, 2022.

• Only ONE entry per contestant is permitted.

• All photographs must be added to the Art Korner SL Themed Photo Contest Flickr Group with the title "Entry for ART KORNER Photo Contest Edition#3 - Minimalism - [YOUR SL NAME]"

• Please also come by the Art Korner Photo Contest Booth and drop a notecard with your full perm texture inside into the drop box with your SL name clearly mentioned. This step is extremely important as we will be displaying the participating photographs at the closing party.

• Please avoid signing your images with your name while submitting the image inworld as we wish the judges to look at the images anonymously while judging. During display at the Closing Party, we will attach name tags below each photograph.

• All entries should be submitted both on Flickr and at the drop box before 11:59 pm SLT on June 16th, 2022

• Closing Party for the Photo Contest will be held between 12 pm SLT and 2 pm SLT on Monday, June 20th, 2022

• Winners will be declared at the end of the Party

Judging

• Artists Melusina Parkin, Sina Souza and Dido Haas will be judging the contest.

• The judges will be instructed not to look at the Flickr group and will be shown the images anonymously inworld to avoid any kind of bias.
