Check out these incredible exhibits at La Maison d'Aneli!

The landscapes of Junanuj, Dekabrist's stunning art from the physical world, Antoronta's microscopic photography and much more to explore at La Maison d'Aneli this month.

On Wednesday, March 2nd, 2022, a new set of exhibitions opened at La Maison d'Aneli, the gallery curated by Aneli Abeyante. Aneli always manages to include a variety of art in her rounds. Similarly, this one has a mix of digitals, SL photography as well as RL art, which makes for a very engaging visit through the displays.

How Do You Explore?

Aneli uses an efficient and exciting TP system that takes visitors from one exhibit space to the next. In each exhibit, you can find a teleport titled "Next Artist" which takes you to the next exhibit space in the gallery.

Settings to Use

Aneli recommends the following settings to make the best of your experience at La Maison d'Aneli:

  • Use Shared Environment (World > Environment > Use Shared Environment)

  • Set Graphics to Mid or more

  • Enable Advanced Lighting Model (Tick the box under the list of Shaders)

  • Set Draw Distance slider to 120 meters or more

The Exhibitions

Vita Theas

In Second life since 2007, Vita has been the manager of the Serena Arts Center from 2010 to 2020, hosting many exhibitions, both individuals and collectives. She also has varied experiences as a maker of clothes and a builder within Second Life and spends most of her time taking pictures, both for her creations and as art projects.

Ceakay Ballyhoo

CK (ceakay.ballyhoo) is an SL photographer and watercolor artist, who has done several expositions and installations around the grid, alone as well as in collaboration with others. Check out some of her wonderful SL photography in this exhibit.

DekabristMouse

DekabristMouse is a Russian artist who considers drawing fan art as illustrations for books a hobby they treasure immensely. Their favorite characters are rodents, mice, squirrels, rats and also foxes. Graphics, pencil drawing and watercolor painting happen to be their favorite mediums. Check out Dekabrist's stunning display here and if you would like to commission work, they are ready to that as well!

Isabel Hermano

Isabel loves strong colors and the passion they express. As you explore this exhibition, dive into the hidden landscapes of her soul, just let flow your emotions! A three years stay in Chile gifted her new stimuli and inspiration. She started to see the world around her with different eyes – the eyes of a painter and photographer… Explore her world through her art at La Maison d'Aneli!

Junanuj

Junanuj has a particular passion for landscape photography, and after several years in which she had hung up my camera, in 2021 she returned to taking pictures for purely personal enjoyment: her approach to SL photography is as instinctual as all the things she does... one, two shots at most, to try to capture that elusive emotion. Her shots are worked with Photoshop, but trying to never distort the essence of the photo itself...

Tarozaemon Rossini

Officially Tarozaemon Rossini landed on to SL to do research about mankind. In reality it seems that his main mission is to show off here and there his trademark dreadlocks. Occasionally, when he has time to kill, he improvised himself as an artist and architect. Check out his incredible, dynamic multi-level exhibition of fractals here! And if you want to know more about fractal art, feel free to IM Taro.

Antoronta

Guille's (antoronta) gaze focused on the microscopic world opens the doors to beauty on other scales that we do not usually access, and to the very nature of life. In this exhibition, we can get closer to the beauty of microscopic organisms in a very singular and unique exhibition in SL.

TELEPORT TO GALLERY (Main Landing Point)

We hope you have a wonderful time exploring the art of these incredible artists!
