Two Virtual Art Exhibitions to Visit on International Women's Day 2022

Celebrate International Women's Day 2022 in the virtual world by visiting these two exhibitions which celebrate the power of women.

Color The World Orange Women's Day Exhibit - GP Gallery

Color The World Orange (CTWO) is an organization in the virtual world dedicated to raising awareness about gender-based violence, which exists both in the physical world and in the virtual world. As part of their ongoing campaign around International Women's Day, a collaborative exhibition at the GP Gallery brings attention to this topic, using art as a medium to do so. With participation by prominent artists like AmandaT Tamatzui, Dido Haas, Ilyra Chardin, Ella Pavlona, Mareea Farrasco, Syn Huntress and many others, this exhibit is a must-visit on women's day to celebrate the power of women worldwide.

"Break the Bias" by Kika Yongho - Camp Italia

On the International Women's Day 2022 (#IWD2022), The United Nations set as a theme the movement #BreakTheBias, inviting people to submit their media (photos, videos, etc.) in the crossed arms pose, "to encourage further people to commit to helping forge an inclusive world". So Kika decided to join the movement and got some wonderful artists and photographers involved to participate in her expo as models. The concept is simple but the message is powerful: #BreakTheBias.
